Hi, I’m Jeffrey Benusa – A Nashville-Based Problem-Solver, Technical Leader, and Creative Builder
I thrive on solving complex challenges, optimizing workflows, and crafting scalable digital experiences. Whether it’s debugging intricate logic, refactoring for maintainability, or architecting robust systems, I approach development as both a science and an art—balancing technical precision with user-centered design.
With experience spanning full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and API-driven architecture, I’ve built CMS-driven platforms, integrated large-scale data systems, and optimized technical debt across multiple teams. My background includes working with Laravel, Craft CMS, React, Python, and Google Cloud Platform, among other technologies.

Beyond coding, I’m a big believer in community, connection, and balance. I stay active by playing in volleyball and soccer leagues, and I love hosting game nights with friends, playing Code Names, Taboo, and other strategy-based games.
I’m also passionate about cooking—especially Southeast Asian cuisine—experimenting with flavors, fermentation, and high-protein recipes. Through volunteering with The Nashville Food Project, I’ve been able to combine my love for food with meaningful service to the community.
Mindfulness, gratitude, and continuous learning are central to both my professional and personal life. Whether I’m troubleshooting a complex engineering problem, learning a new technology, or refining a recipe, I approach everything with curiosity, intentionality, and a drive to improve.
